Celebrate great American Music with America's Sweethearts in one of America's Greatest Downtowns!

The The 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and most recent 2015 Arkansas Festival of the Year, MusicFest 29 returns to Downtown El Dorado for another amazing weekend of music. Two days, four stages and over thirty musical acts featuring America's Sweethearts, The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, The Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Nation with the Dallas Cowboys Mobile Hall of Fame! Musical acts burn up the stage with Grammy nominated Country Music Star David Nail, Pop Culture Icons Sugar Ray with Mark McGrath, and Grammy Award winning Lee Ann Womack! The festival will aslo feature dance innovator New Cupid, Sam Lewis, The Rodney Block Collective, Mary Heather Hickman, Buckets & Boards, Katie Sunshine and many more performing at South Arkansas' largest outdoor music event.

MusicFest El Dorado boasts its biggest musical lineup yet.  Whether you like country, rock, R&B, Rap, bluegrass or blues, MusicFest 29 has something for everyone. Ticket prices are $25 per day for adults, BUT Discount Weekend Passes are only $40 at Murphy USA locations and online starting August 1st on the Musicfest El Dorado website and remain on sale until Thursday, October 13th.  Kids 12 and under get in FREE with paid adult admission!




The internationally acclaimed Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are widely regarded as the best cheerleading squad in the NFL. Multi-platinum recording artist, Sugar Ray is synonymous with the soundtrack of the 90's & 2000's. The release of their hit song "Fly" in 1997 was followed by multiple chart toppers including "Every Morning", "Someday" and "When It's Over" launching them into mainstream rock stars. Sugar Ray's lead singer, Mark McGrath, went on to become a hit TV star as host of Entertainment Tonight, a variety of game shows and numerous TV and movie appearances. With over 10 million records sold, Sugar Ray is truly a Pop-Culture Icon with a front man like no other band from their era.



After landing a recording contract in Nashville, the hits started to roll for now Grammy nominated country singer and songwriter David Nail, with his first single entering the Top 50 on the country chart. In 2007 his next pair of singles "Turning Home" hit Top 20 and "Red Light" entered the Top 10 on Billboard's chart. After touring the world, he released "Let It Rain" which went on to become a No. 1. Grammy Winner and former female vocalist of the year, Lee Ann Womack is a country music singer & songwriting star. Mixing old fashioned delivery with contemporary elements is her proven style producing multiple hits and awards in country and pop. Lee Ann Womack has released six studio albums and two compilations with four of her studio albums going Gold all while receiving five Academy of Country Music Awards, six Country Music Association Awards, a Grammy Award and 6 million albums sold worldwide.



The Official Tailgate Party of the Dallas Cowboys is coming to El Dorado! This mobile party takes the tailgate movement to a whole new level with fun, music, grilling, and all the gameday favorites! Don't miss the Mobile Cowboy's Hall of Fame, an interactive mobile museum that highlights the rich history of the Dallas Cowboys with numerous exhibits providing fans a unique experience. See the trophies, historic uniforms and rings; watch the video walls reliving the unforgettable Superbowl moments, and see behind-the scenes of the game.

In 2007, new cupid shuffled his way into the hearts of millions with the up-tempo party song "cupid shuffle," which inspired the popular dance craze. From appearances on nationally syndicated TV and radio talk shows such as Dr. OZ, Steve Harvey and Tom Joyner to breaking the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest line dance assembled with over 17k people, cupid has virtually reshaped dance music and created an entirely new genre.

Sam Lewis is a folk county singer song writer who's songs are "rooted in the energy that defines this harmonious frontier, with the tones of rock & roll, rhythm & blues and a country-folk muse". Chris Stapleton says about Lewis "He reminds me of James Taylor's blue-eyed soul and has a Townes Van Zandt vibe"

Rodney Block and his unique trumpet sound has been featured and performed in various venues across the globe ranging from corporate to social, and has built a niche in the genres of jazz and hip hop. He has shared the stage with jazz greats like Dwele, Jonathan Butler, Dave Hollister, Wynton Marsalis, and Eric Roberson. Block's televised jazz feature, AETN Presents: Front Row with Rodney Block, was nominated for an Emmy. Block's band, the "Collective" is the perfect backing unit for his unique style.

mary heather hickman

Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, raised outside of Dallas and now recording in Nashville, Mary Heather Hickman has a classic country sound with a raw honesty. Only in her early 20s, Mary Heather is no stranger to the stage. She has been a featured performer at venues such as Johnnie High's Country Music Revue, The Gladewater Opry and The Little O' Opry in West Fork. She was a contestant on Season 6 of NBC's "The Voice" in Los Angeles and continues to write, sing and perform for her fans at events all over the region.

A hilarious, high-energy show full of precise percussion, ridiculous songs, spectacular tap dancing, inventive instrumentation and unique musical talent, Buckets N Boards is an experience in family entertainment to say the least! Katie Sunshine was first inspired to start hula hooping when she saw a girl at a music festival performing with a hoop. After giving it a try, she was hooked. Since then, she's racked up nearly 8 million views on Youtube, performed with the Phillie Phanatic at Citizens Bank Park, and was animated into a music video by Goldfish. Most recently, Katie appeared spinning and twisting alongside Jerrod Neimann in his chart topping music video "Drink to That All Night."
