His albums such as “Life of the Party”, “Step Right Up” and “Unleashed Live” were all great with songs such as “My Hometown”, “Barlight” and “El Cerrito Place”; however, now married to Emily Robison (former Emily Erwin of The Dixie Chicks) and raising 3 children has unleashed a new Robinson. He is the real deal, and plays music for today's music fans... it ain't your grampa's music, or that same ol' predictable blues stuff that you may find at big corporate record companies. Billy Jones has developed a sound that presents the music from a more urbanized and street-wise point of view, while being firmly rooted in the standard blues tradition.

Since the band officially formed in the early 2001, they have continued to challenge themselves to grow with the same evolution that is their music. This evolution is never more strikingly apparent than on “On Down the Road”, their second release for indie producer Mike McKenzie, a studio project with the drive and passion that typifies their live shows. A mixture of styles and sounds has always played an important role in the band’s identity. With the thousands of fans that show for each year’s Talladega NASCAR race to the clubs across the south that flock time and again, there is no let down of pure fun and adrenaline that follows. BIRDS OF PREY SHOW

Have you ever seen a Tailed Hawk up close and personal? You will if you attend the Little Rock Zoo’s Birds of Prey Show. In addition to having a Red-Tailed Hawk, they will showcase eight different live birds of prey on stage and demonstrate their abilities. This is a chance of a lifetime for most people to see live birds of prey up close. All of the birds are comfortable on stage. Lights, cameras, noise, people, nothing seems to bother them. They remain calm and observant. Each bird has a handler who understands how to work with it on stage. After the presentation is over, the audience is invited to come by their booth for a closer look. You can look into the eyes of these magnificent birds from a couple of feet away. There is no glass or wire, it is you and the bird up close! However, petting or touching is not permitted. You can take photos and ask the handlers questions about each bird. Be sure to come early for a good seat!
