Playing at Musicfest El Dorado 2011

Robert Fortune Band

Robert Fortune was given his first guitar at age 13 by his mentor and family friend, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top.  After coming into his own, Robert worked his way into his first record deal with recording company giant Interscope Records at the age of 15.  Now with fans like Billy Gibbons, Dave Grohl and Tommy Lee, Robert Fortune is making his mark in Rock-N-Roll.  One would think that it would be daunting to a 19 year old prodigy to get out on the road to push an album, but rock music, in its purest form, is what the Robert Fortune Band is all about. They generate something fresh and compelling that immediately connects with an audience and their shows are like no other.  The band has worked dates with The Radiators, Cowboy Mouth, and ZZ Top and their three piece band experience has been compared to the other great power trios – Jimi Hendrix Experience, Blue Cheer, Cream, and, of course ZZ Top.
